During our family vacation at Pousada Estrela Matutina, we had a genuinely delightful experience. As an archaeologist, I often explore ancient cultures, but this stay allowed me to appreciate a different kind of history-warm hospitality. The owner and staff were accommodating, ensuring we felt welcome throughout our time there. Traveling with a toddler can be quite the adventure, and this hotel proved to be family-friendly. The small apartment-like setting with two bedrooms and a shared bathroom suited our needs perfectly, and the balcony with hammocks became a favorite spot for relaxation. The well-maintained pool was an excellent way for our child to unwind after exploring nearby waterfalls. Breakfast was a lovely start to our mornings, with enough variety to please both adults and kids. While communicating in Portuguese made things interesting-my limited Spanish came in handy-the staff's hospitality spoke volumes. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel for families seeking a homely atmosphere, especially if you're looking for memorable moments together.
